The Houlton Regional Hospital has announced the following births.
    HARVEY – A son, Logan Robert Harvey, born to Torri Harvey and Edwin Gardner of Merrill, on July 27, 2009.
MERRILL – A daughter, Amelia Rosario Merrill, born to Amanda Hand and James Merrill of Houlton, on July 28, 2009.
SOMES – A son, Kamron Avery Somes, born to Debra Somes and David Crandall of Houlton, on July 28, 2009.
WRIGHT – A daughter, Kennady Lee Wright, born to Kara and Randy Wright of Ludlow, on July 30, 2009; joining big brother Reiley.
McGOWAN — Jeremy and Stacie McGowan of Portland are the proud parents of a new baby daughter born July 23. She has been named Jaydon and is the little sister of Ashley. Maternal grandparents are Russell and Sandra Shain of Danforth and paternal grandparents are Colleen and Barry Sloat of Raymond. Great-grandparents are Francene Harrington of Danforth and Joy and Louise Shain of Brookton.
