Lenentine family reunion celebrated

    The 16th Lenentine family reunion was held on July 16, 2009 at the Meduxnekeag Ramblers Snowsled Club in Littleton. We all enjoyed seeing family members and catching up on genealogy. We had 32 Lenentines and spouses attend this reunion.
    A beautiful prayer was said by Regan Clancy, to start our delicious potluck. A short business meeting was held with Elva (Lenentine) Coburn as our fearless leader. We had a 50/25/25 raffle drawing with two winners, Carol (Lenentine) Jenkins from Michigan and Cleola (Lenentine) Russell from New Limerick, Maine.
    Those attending were: Elva (Lenentine) Coburn and David Flemington; Merritt and Louise Lenentine from Houlton; Allison and Pat Lenentine; Cheryl, Steve and Ashley Porter from Bridgewater; Donnie Lenentine from Hodgdon and Dale and Cleola (Lenentine) Russell from New Limerick.
    Attending from away were: Kathy (Lenentine) Cass from Fergus, Ontario; Peggy (Lenentine) Warden from Dunchurch, Ontario, Canada and Carol (Lenentine) Jenkins from Troy, Mich. It was nice to visit with these relatives. They came from so far away. They wanted to meet their Lenentine cousins from the states and they have more relatives than they ever dreamed they had.
    Also from away were Harold and Caroline (Lenentine) McKay from Upper Caverhill, Southampton, N.B. Canada; Wendell and Joan Hutchinson from Broad Brook, Conn.; Ervin and Marge Lenentine from Suffield, Conn.; David, Linda, Kelly and Kristina Black from Coventry, Conn.; Diane, Regan, Matthew, Kevin and Michael Clancy from Coventry, Conn. and Les and Dawn (Lenentine) Black from Manchester, Conn.
    We had a total of 32 attending. Our next Lenentine family reunion is planned for July 16, 2011, at Patriots Park in Coventry, Conn. Diane Clancy and her brother, David Black, are in charge of this family reunion. Patriots Park is on a lake and we will have games and lots of food. Put this date on your 2011 calendar and tell your kids.
