CARY PLANTATION – Stephen O. Scott, Jr., 59, passed away October 28, 2009, with his family by his side. He was born January 4, 1950, in Houlton.
    Stephen served his country in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. Stephen’s number one love was family and friends. He was an avid fisher and hunter.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne, of 36 years; three children, Vincente Burgos of Cary Plantation, Vicky and husband Robert DeHahn of Amity, and Denise Kinney and fiancé Kevin; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grand-children; sister, Gloria and her husband Robert Fredericks of Canada; and brother, Mike and wife Rose Henry of Florida. He will be sadly missed. We are thankful of Stephen’s cousin, Wendell Scott of Carmel for all his help in our time of need.
    A memorial service is being held at the Hodgdon Methodist Church in Hodgdon, Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 2 p.m.
