Group plans February meeting
PRESQUE ISLE — Maine Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Jan. 23 at the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library. Sonja Plummer-Morgan, librarian, gave an overview of events and projects currently under way, as well as goals for the future. She provided members with an informational packet with statistics from 2009.
The chapter voted to make a donation to the Red Cross specifically to go to the fund for Haiti.
A children’s book in memory of Ed Packard will be donated to the library.
The next meeting will be Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center.
