Thomas Butcher

Butcher, Thomas, 71, February 30, 2010.  Arrangements by Town and Country Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Florida.  
Military funeral services were held February 1st for Thomas Butcher of Jacksonville, Fl. Thomas was born on May 30 1938 in Somerville, Ma.                                
    Thomas spent fourteen years in the United States Air Force After attending Boston College. He was a member of the V.F.W. and Masonic lodge of Boston. He relocated to Jacksonville in 1992 from Maine, where he spent several  years in the automobile business.  He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas P. Butcher Sr. and Thelma Butcher, sister Beverly Day and daughter Maureen McAvoy.
   He is survived by  wife Mary L. Butcher and granddaughter Teri Taylor and husband Kirk. A very special great-grandson  Rig Otero,  several nieces and nephews  and special friends Jerry Petty and Bon and Anne Mancuso.
