MAPLETON TIGER CUB SCOUTS have set up a collection box inside the entryway of the Mapleton Town Office to benefit the Central Aroostook Humane Society. This project was established to assist the boys as they complete some of the requirements to move up to the Wolf Den. New Wolf Cubs and their siblings are, front row, from left: Patrick Tardie, Chandler Legasse and Christopher Tardie. Back row: Paul Tardie, Caleb Legasse and Holden Stoutamyer. The Wolves are led by Adam Stoutamyer.

Items needed include cat litter, litter box bags, cat and dog food, paper towels, pet toys and treats, newspapers (what a great way to recycle old copies of The Star-Herald), towels (new or used), bleach, laundry detergent, and pet beds.
The Tiger Cubs involved with this project are Holden Stoutamyer, Cameron Levasseur, Chandler Lagassie and Patrick Tardie. Adam Stoutamyer is the Den Leader for the boys who have now become Wolves. The box will be at the Town Office for an extended period of time. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated!
