Parker Walker, along with grandfather John Walker, ran in the breast cancer run in Bangor on Sunday. Parker placed 148 out of 812 people who were timed. The race registered more than 5,500 people, including runners and walkers. Parker completed the race in 24:05 and that was a pace of 7:46. He was 48 out of 105 in the class of 18 and under. Also John ran in the race and his time was 29:10. His pace was 9:25. John was fourth out of 13 in the male 60 and older category.
