OUTSTANDING MUSICIAN — Rachel Hobbs, an eighth-grade trumpet player at Presque Isle Middle School, received one of only five Outstanding Musician Awards given out by the judges at the State Middle School Instrumental Jazz Festival that was held March 26 at Stearns High School. Congratulating Hobbs is Patrick Bragdon, PIMS band director.
