Class offered to daycare providers
The Presque Isle Indoor Pool will offer a basic water safety class for day care providers who have a wading pool or take their day care kids anywhere there is water. The class will be held June 28 from 6-9 p.m. The cost is $25. Please call the pool for more information.
The indoor pool will also offer a lifeguard class on June 18, 25 and 26 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. all three days. Pre-registration is a must.
The outdoor pool opens Saturday for the summer. The outdoor pool general swim hours are Monday through Friday from 2-4:45 p.m. and 6-7:45 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-4:45 p.m. Outdoor swimming lessons will start June 27.
Starting Monday, the indoor pool will begin its summer hours. General swim hours will be weekdays from 1-2:45 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7-8:45 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-3:45 p.m. Lap swim hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:15-8 a.m., daily from noon-1 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 5-6 p.m.
