The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting registrations for the 25-mile race, set for Sunday, July 10.

The race starts at 9 a.m. at the Acadian Village in Van Buren. Competitors will travel down U.S. Route 1 to the finish line across from Cary Medical Center in Caribou.

Prizes will be awarded, by age groups, to the top two finishers in three categories, touring, all-terrain and road racing. There will also be prizes for the first Van Buren and Caribou finishers.

T-shirts and water bottles will be given out to the first 75 entrants.

Pre-registration is going on now for $10 per individual or $22 for a family of up to three members. You can also register at 8 a.m. the day of the race in Van Buren, although fees are slightly higher.

For more information or to register, contact the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department at 493-4224.
