Forest forum Sept. 29

On Thursday, Sept. 29, the Maine Society of American Foresters will sponsor the Northern Maine Forest  Forum beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center.

Charlene Donahue, forest entomologist for the Maine Insect and Disease Laboratory, will present the evening’s topic, “Spruce Budworm and More — Insects that are on the horizon in northern Maine forests.”

The cost to attend the Sept. 29 program and dinner is $17. This event is open to the general public and reservations are required.
