LINNEUS — A Linneus man escaped serious injury Dec. 23 when he crashed his vehicle on Drews Mills Road. Joseph Cohen, 53, of Linneus was traveling east on the Drew’s Mills Road in Linneus when he lost control of his 2004 Ford Ranger pickup due to snowy road conditions.
According to Sgt. Forrest Dudley of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department, Cohen slid off the road and rolled the vehicle over onto the driver’s side. He sustained minor injuries during the accident, and was transported to Houlton Regional Hospital by Houlton Ambulance service. The vehicle sustained significant damage, and was totaled. The accident was blamed on speed and road conditions. Cohen was not charged.
