SNOW, Ansel Gerald, 84, MASARDIS, February 9, 2012. A memorial service at the Ashland Fish and Game Club, Ashland, on Feb. 25, from 2-4:30 p.m. A Masonic Memorial Service will be conducted by Pioneer Lodge, number 72 at 2:30 p.m.
MASARDIS – On February 9, 2012, Ansel Gerald Snow passed away at Cary Medical Center, Caribou. Born in 1927 to Bennie L. and Leola Graham Snow, Ansel was a lifelong resident of Masardis. He enjoyed a thirty-six year long career with the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad. After his retirement, he spent most of his time at his beloved camp on Umcolcus Brook in T8-R6.
He is survived by his sister, Alice Snow Robinson of Masardis. He also leaves behind five children; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren: Pamela Snow Sweetser, her husband, Wayne of Presque Isle, their sons, Benjamin King of Yonkers, NY, Joshua King and his wife, Kari of Oveido, Fla, and their children, Maizie, Grady and Jonas; Geoffrey Snow, his wife, Janice, of Masardis, and their children, Alysa and Cody; Tracy Snow-Cormier and her husband, Norman of Portage; Gina Snow of Mt. Vernon; Christopher Snow, his wife, Peggy of Plainfield, CT, and their children, Brooke and Jacob.
The family invites friends and neighbors to attend a memorial service at the Ashland Fish and Game Club, Ashland, on February 25, from 2-4:30 p.m., to celebrate Ansel’s life. A Masonic Memorial Service will be conducted by Pioneer Lodge, number 72 at 2:30 p.m.
