Cooper’s uncle named Jeremiah L. had said Cooper could not be a true farmer…until the cold wave hit. It was a hot sunny day. Then, all of a sudden, a large white snowy cloud came out of nowhere. When the ducks flew through the clouds, they came out of the other side with icicles handing from their bodies. They were duck icicles.
It was so cold that the cows had icicles and the corn was a huge iceberg. The oats were frozen so much that when you hit them the ice and the oats broke. The potatoes were frozen so hard that 1,000,000 pounds couldn’t break the ice.
All the animals wanted to go into the house and they broke down the door. Then finally I got there to their rescue. I used a heater and lots of other stuff to stop it but it did not work. All hope was lost until I came up with another idea. I call the Stranger.
When he got there, we were all frozen; except, for me and then he used the heat wave to destroy the cold wave or at least what was left of the heat wave. It was not such a good idea actually because now we live on top of a lake.
