The 2012 Miss Caribou Pageant will take place on Saturday, May 26 at the Caribou Performing Arts Center. This year three young ladies will be competing for the coveted title and crown. On Saturday, May 26 three young ladies will compete for the right to wear the crown and title of Miss Caribou, 2012. The annual evening pageant, sponsored by the Caribou Lioness Club, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.

Competing for the 2012 Miss Caribou title are the following contestants and their talent selections.

Emma Duplissie-Cyr, the daughter of Tina Duplissie and Tim Cyr, is a Caribou High School junior. She will perform a vocal selection of “Over The Rainbow” during the talent segment of the pageant.

Natasha Bishop, the daughter of Rick and Sharlet Bishop, is a CHS senior who will be performing a self-choreographed tap dance routine to “Cry of the Celts,” for her talent presentation.

Morgan Swan, a member of the senior class at Caribou High School, is the daughter of Chuck and Sandy Swan. She will provide a vocal selection of “I Won’t Give Up” as her talent performance.

Emcee for the 2012 pageant will be Alana Margeson, the 2012 Maine Teacher of the Year, who also represented the city as Miss Caribou 1994.

The 2012 contestants, accompanied by the reigning 2011 Miss Caribou Elizabeth Keaton, the daughter of Michael and Susan Keaton, and the other newly crowned 2012 Caribou queens will open the evening event performing a dance routine choreographed by Krista Albert.

Tickets for the May 26 pageant are $7 and are available from any of the contestants, at The Bank of Maine in Caribou or at the door the evening of the pageant.
