Hole-in-one recorded at PICC

The second ace of the season was recorded at Presque Isle Country Club May 21, as Harold Soucy pulled off the feat on the 115-yard 16th hole.

He used an eight-iron for his fourth career hole-in-one. Witnessing the shot were Bob Lewandowski, Al Condon and Barry Richardson.

Buddy Up classes offered

The Presque Isle Indoor Pool is offering a two-week “Buddy Up!” session beginning June 4 and running through June 14.

The classes will be held Monday through Thursday, with slots open from 3:30-5 p.m. Participants between the ages of 3 and 12 can bring a friend to join the fun and gain confidence needed to be safe around the water. The fee is $36 and your “buddy” can swim for free.

Parents are asked to call 764-2564 or stop by the Presque Isle Indoor Pool at 84 Mechanic Street to find about class availability.
