New student orientation at UMPI begins Aug. 30

    PRESQUE ISLE — The University of Maine at Presque Isle is gearing up for the 2012-13 academic year and would like to remind all new incoming students that orientation will be held later this month.
    Residence Hall move-in is Wednesday, Aug. 29, followed by orientation on Thursday, Aug. 30. All new students are encouraged to attend. There will be a lot of important information; opportunities to meet faculty, staff, and classmates; a Work Study Information Session; free UMPI items; and a chance to win $200. Welcome to a fresh start!
