SYKORA, Marcus B., Sr., 81, CHAPMAN, March 7, 2013. Private services were held at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

CHAPMAN – Marcus B. Sykora, Sr., 81, died Thursday, March 7, 2013. He was born on July 20, 1931 in Stamford, Texas, the son of Joseph J. and Ernie D. (Fulmer) Sykora.
    After discharge from the Air Force, Mark did many things, from Civil Service in Presque Isle, to having his own business in Jefferson, Texas. He enjoyed many things in life; auctions, flea markets and making things. In retirement, he enjoyed gardening and his children and grandchildren.
    Marcus is survived by his daughter, Madelyn Sykora of Camp Hill, PA; daughter, Sheila and husband, Ken Nellis of Latham, NY; daughter, Susan Humes of Chapman, ME; son, Marcus Jr. and wife, Barbara Sykora of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Sylvia and husband, Bob Buob of Chapman, ME; daughter, Michelle Ann Sykora; grandchildren, Bruce Nellis, Rebekah and husband, Ed Kennedy; Sarah and husband, Josh Small, Anne and husband, Ron Nellis, Thomas Everett, Jeannette and husband, Aaron Fackler, Jennifer Tidwell, Alexandrea and husband, Josh Cheney, Katherine Buob and Jacob Buob. Mark is also survived by his sisters, Yvonne Hutchins, Jean Larkin, Jo Bishop and Jim Sykora; many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
    He was predeceased by his brother, Leroy Sykora.
