Steve Edwards and Everett Boutilier bested Peter Blood and Greg Gayne; Ben Walker and Brian McAuliffe beat Joe McAuliffe and Scot Walker; Warren Walker and Bill Dwyer tied with Stu Kelly and Jon Smallwood. Ken Delano and
Reid Stanley won over Ralph Powers and Ted Pettengill; Tom Ryan, Peter Lawlor bested Tim Thoreson and Ola Tucker; and Scot and Evan Walker defeated Steve Merry and Evan McCarthy.
Closest to the pin was Bill Dwyer on No. 11 with 18 feet, 1 inch and Warren Walker on No. 16 with 6 feet, 6 inches. The July 4th Flag Day Tournament results are in with the big winner being Ola Tucker. Ola managed to play 19-plus holes before he reached his target score. His flag was planted at 250 feet from the second green. Second place was Noah Bernard playing 18 holes plus, 13 yards from the No. 1 green. Warren Walker took third place 13-and-a half yards from the No. 1 green and Stu Kelly was 100 yards from the No. 1 green for fourth place.
Winning closest to the pin was Stu Kelly on No. 4 at 47 feet, 5 inches, Becky Kelly on No. 7 with 24 feet, 6 inches, Steve Merry on No. 11 with 11 feet, 11 inches and Ola Tucker on No.16 with 5 feet, 2 inches.
Longest drive winner was Tracy Townsend. Thanks to all who came out and participated in this fun event.
Saturday, July 13 there will be an ABCD Scramble with a blind draw starting at 8 a.m. The $15 entry fee includes tournament entry, longest drive and closest to the pin. Regular green fees and cart fees apply for non-members.
