The Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District will host a meeting of the USDA Local Work Group on Friday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held at the USDA Service Center, 304 North St, Houlton, and is open to the public.
Local Work Groups provide recommendations to the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service on local natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs.
