If you are among those who believe the four basic food groups are milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and everything else, the Chocolate Festival offers a place to purchase chocolate from the first three categories and maybe even try a few from the fourth group — covered in one or more of the chocolate varieties, of course.
The Chocolate Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19th at Teague Park School on Glenn Street in Caribou. Proceeds from the event will benefit the 2014 Aroostook County Relay For Life Event.
For the 1st time ever, Relay For Life teams are joining together in a massive fundraising event. There will be tables of goodies for the kids’ Easter baskets, chocolate treats for the kid in all of us and desserts for a chocolate-filled Easter dinner. Area “Chocolatiers” will also be providing treats available for purchase. Activities held for kids will include an Easter Egg Hunt, coloring contest, face painting, a cake walk that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser and many more!
Don’t miss out on the chance to fill your Easter baskets with wonderful homemade chocolate goodies, while also supporting a great cause at the same time! Admission is free and tickets are available at the door to purchase chocolate goodies with. FMI visit us on Facebook or call Cuppy Johndro at 498-4010 or Karin Howe at 227-0307.
