    Calling all crafters! The Easton Craft Fair is set for Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Easton Elementary School and organizers are looking for crafters.

Easton Wesleyan Church News

    On Sunday, Sept. 21, the Easton Wesleyan Church will be doing a four-wheeler run to Riverside Camp in Blaine. They will be leaving the church at 3:30 p.m. and returning around 7 p.m. For more info please call Melissa Corbin at 227-4093. There will be a barbecue supper upon arrival at the camp; please bring something to share!

Happy Days Club

    The Easton seniors’ Happy Days Club will meet on Thursday, Aug. 28, for a pizza dinner. Dan Turner will be speaking on the life and habits of honey bees. They will be planning their fall “leaf peeping” trip. All Easton seniors are invited to attend these meetings and to join in on bus trips.

Upcoming programs

    Junior Activities resume for the school year! The program is for our youngest participants, a time to play and socialize. Moms/caregivers are welcome, children who are potty trained may stay on their own. The group meets every Wednesday and Friday (when school is in session) from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Hall. Rec calendar

    Wednesday, Aug. 27 — Junior Activities from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Hall.
First and second grade soccer after school until 4 p.m. on the Rec soccer field.
Thursday, Aug. 28 — Happy Days Club meets at 11:30 a.m. in the recreation room at the Manor.
Third and fourth grade soccer after school until 4 p.m. on the Rec soccer field.
Friday, Aug. 29 — Junior Activities from 9:30-11a.m. at the Hall.
Seniors’ program; Cara from Aroostook Agency on Aging will be speaking on essential oils. Program starts at 11 a.m. and lunch will be provided free of charge after the presentation.
Monday, Sept. 1 — Town Office and Recreation Department closed in observation of Labor Day.
Tuesday, Sept. 2 — Third and fourth grade soccer vs. Mars Hill at 3:15 p.m. on the field behind the playground.
Wednesday, Sept. 3 — Junior Activites from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Hall.
First and second grade soccer vs. Mars Hill at 3:15 on the field behind the playground.
