CARIBOU — Three pageants take place on March 21, determining the next Pre-Teen Miss Caribou, Jr. Miss Caribou and Miss Teen Caribou.
The show, themed “Journey to Neverland,” takes place this Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Caribou Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $7 per person, and can be purchased from any contestant, at the Caribou High School, or at the door the evening of the pageant.

Participating in Saturday’s pageant will be, from left, front row: Alexis Gustin, Emma Kilcollins, Naomi Cote and Sierra McKissick. Second row: Pre-Teen Maine Potato Queen Chloe Sleeper. The show begins with an introductory number featuring the reigning Pre-Teen Miss Caribou Mia Theriault, Jr. Miss Caribou Olivia Picard, Miss Teen Caribou Kelsey Kiehn and the contestants.
Contestants will then compete in three categories: physical fitness, talent, and gown.
Contestants vying for Pre-Teen Miss Caribou are:
• Alexis Haley Gustin, daughter of Eric and Kimberly Gustin, who will sing a song during the talent portion of the event;
• Emma Kilcollins, daughter of Chris and Mandy Kilcollins, who will perform a jazz dance during the talent portion;
• Naomi Renee Cote, daughter of Ryan and Nicole Cote, who will sing; and
• Sierra McKissick, daughter of Mark McKissick and Sharon Soucy, who will also sing.
Contestants running for Junior Miss Caribou are:
• Edie Shea, daughter of Mark and Megan Shea and Becky Shea, who will perform a monologue;
• Peyton Lindsey, daughter of Bryant and Brandy Lindsey, will sing;
• Ashley Violette, daughter of Kurt Violette and Jennifer St. Peter, who will sing;
• Chrissy Corbin, daughter of Chris and Tracy Corbin, who will dance; and
• Mackenna Smith, daughter of Whitney and Katie Smith, who will dance as well.
Contestants in the Miss Teen Caribou contest are:
• Mackenzie Rowe, granddaughter of Gordon and Laura Hewitt, who will sing;
• Kyra Thibeault, daughter of Rick and Beth Thibeault, who will sing; and
• Hannah McDonald, daughter of James and Cathy McDonald, who will also sing.
Special entertainment will be provided by the 2014 queens during the pageant as well.

These pageants are preliminary pageants for the Potato Blossom contests to be held in July concurrent with the Potato Blossom Festival.
