Library fun targets all

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Public Library reminds readers of all ages that they offer a wide variety of reading programming throughout the year, including activities for young readers including stories, games, songs and poetry.

Little Explorers is for the youngest patrons, age up to 5, meeting Tuesdays from 10-10:30 a.m. Activities include songs, flannel boards and finger plays. Upcoming dates are July 21 and 28 and Aug. 4, 2015, 11 and 18.

The Adventures program targets youth ages 6-8 and meets Thursday, 10-10:30 a.m. Youth will have an opportunity to assist in program development. Upcoming dates are July 23 and 30 and Aug. 6, 13 and 20.

Tween and Teen, for ages 9-18, is held Wednesday from 3-3:30 p.m. Besides reading, participants can help develop the program. Summer dates are July 22 and 29 and Aug. 5, 12 and 19.

For all ages, the series Beyond the Book is held Fridays from 10-10:30 p.m. For the remainder of the summer the sessions will meet July 24 and 31 and Aug. 7, 14 and 21.
