I am the mother of an addict and I know how hard it is to watch your child suffer from something that is out of your control.
Families Anonymous meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Chan Center at Cary Medical Center. The meetings are held in the Maine Room, no. 1013.
Alanon meets every Saturday at Catholic Charities in Caribou (upstairs) at 11 a.m.
All are welcome; please join a group that understands what you’re going through. Break the chains of shame.
