Elections determine future
To the editor:
The 2016 elections are extremely important for our country. The outcome of the elections will determine the direction of our nation for many years to come.
We need a president who will defend the constitution of our country and who will protect our freedoms, especially our religious freedoms. It is time that we stop the killing of innocent babies which has been going on for the past 40 years. We cannot expect our country to be blessed if we continue on this holocaust path.
We are not only electing a president, but it will be a president who will have the awesome duty of nominating several supreme court justices. These justices will determine the future of our nation. We need justices who will interpret the constitution instead of legislating from the bench. That domain belongs to the legislative branch of government.
Our vote is important. We must elect a president who will put our country back on the right path. We must return to the principles of our Founding Fathers. It is time we return to respecting our constitution, our flag and our many freedoms protected by the constitution. These beliefs are what made our country strong. If we miss our opportunity during this 2016 elections, it will spell disaster for the future of our country.
