PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle High School Future Business Leaders of America held their annual harvest supper and auction on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club.
Kathy Peary from Presque Isle catered a Thanksgiving-style meal which was enjoyed by everyone.
Club members thanked Governor’s Restaurant and Pepsi Bottling Co. for their donation of the rolls and soda products for the evening, and also issued thanks to MMG Insurance and Northeast Packaging for helping pay for the meal.
FBLA members met at the clubhouse on Sunday afternoon to set up tables and chairs and to decorate with fall decor. On Tuesday, those students that could attend all worked together, organizing the auction items prior to the meal and helping with whatever they could do to make the evening go smoothly.
Tom Drew, the auctioneer, kept the crowd in laughter during the auction.
The money that was raised will help the students attend the annual FBLA convention in Portland in March 2017.
FBLA members present for the evening were Isaac Adams, Emma Beaulieu, Taylor Billings, Charlotte Carrier, Kacie Chapman, Gabriella Donovan, Rachel Driscoll, Elise Guerrette, Taylor Hedrich, Gavin Hemphill, Molly Kingsbury, Joe Michaud, Rolen Mortland, Lydia Patterson, Mari Shaw, Chrissy Skidgel, Kerstee Spooner, Alec Staples and Alaina Sweetser.
Club members who could not attend were Patrick Cash, Natalie Bates, Matt Bouchard, McKenzie Turner and Victoria Williamson.
