Scott McCrossin of Caribou, second from left, is among 20 students in the Precision Machining Technology (PMT) Program at Central Maine Community College (CMCC) in Auburn who were awarded Gene Haas Foundation scholarships totaling over $32,000 for the academic year just completed.
McCrossin graduated with honors from the program this spring. With him are other scholarship winners, Dane Wheeler of Hartland, Greg Poulin of Jackman, Bob Marquis of Litchfield and Scott Maclean of Beverly, Mass. Founded in 1999, the Gene Haas Foundation supports education programs that prepare students for manufacturing careers.
