The Unity Project is a public art display being exhibited on the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s South Hall lawn as part of Kindness Week running Nov. 13-18.
Students and community members are invited to participate in the Unity Project and tie pieces of paper with statements reflecting parts of their identity ― such as family, ehnicity or political afficiliation ― to a pole. A public group will gather at the South Hall lawn for a unity event Thursday at 12:15.
