RSU 50 (Southern Aroostook) and RSU 89 (Katahdin) school districts are participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided to all children free of charge.
The program will be offered at Katahdin Elementary School and at Southern Aroostook Community School from June 25 – July 26.
Katahdin Elementary School Cafeteria begins serving on Wednesday, June 27. The first two weeks of the program will see food offered June 27-28 and July 5-6. The following three weeks (July 9-26), food will be available Mondays through Thursdays.
Breakfast at KES begins at 8:05 a.m. and Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. Participants must call 365-4285 if your child will be attending.
Southern Aroostook School Community School’s start date was Monday, June 25. Food will be offered Monday-Thursday, June 25-28; Monday-Friday, July 2-6 (closed July 4) and Mondays-Thursdays from July 9-19.
Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and lunch is at 11:30 a.m. Call 757-8206 if your child will be attending.
Acceptance and participation requirements for the Program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
