ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The annual week-long Island Falls Summerfest came to a close Sunday with a large parade, followed by a cook-out, crafts and children’s games at the town Municipal Building.
Sunday’s temperatures made for a scorcher of a parade, with several of the entries passing out free water or popsicles to cool spectators who lined Main Street for the parade.
