AUGUSTA, Maine — Governor Paul R. LePage has directed all United States flags and State of Maine flags to be flown at half-staff immediately in memory of Arizona Sen. John McCain.
“John McCain served his country in the military and then as a long-standing senator,” said LePage. “Ann and I thank him for his life of service, and we send our heartfelt condolences to Senator McCain’s family.”
Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment.
