The Woodland Consolidated School Show Choir captured second place at the Maine State Vocal Jazz Festival, held March 30 at Lawrence High School in Fairfield. Nineteen show choirs participated, with approximately 500 students representing 19 schools from across the state. The Woodland School Show Choir, under the direction of Jennifer Holmes, was one of two middle school show choirs to represent Aroostook County at the festival, and took home a silver medal in the Division 2 competition.
