PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Three people are facing charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon after allegedly threatening the wrong person in a money-related dispute in Presque Isle Saturday, according to the Presque Isle Police Department.
Robin Witham, 31, of Houlton, Michael Mills, 31, of Presque Isle and Victoria Thompson, 52, of Presque Isle were all charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon after an incident in the Mechanic Street area Saturday, according to Presque Isle Police Chief Laurie Kelly.
Kelly said that Witham allegedly was “collecting” money on Thompson’s behalf while brandishing a knife for an apparent dispute over money.
Witham threatened the wrong person, who was not injured in the incident, Kelly said. Mills was also charged with violating conditions of release.
