SHERMAN, Maine — Air Force Sergeant Angela Paradis of Vassalboro was honored during Labor Day weekend at a bridal shower at the home of Terry Lane in Sherman hosted by Justice of the Peace Crystal Sirois. The bridal shower room was decorated with navy blue and sunflower mustard yellow colors. The cake was made by Georgia Landry of Patten.
Guests attending were Hailey Lane, Melissa Lane, Shelley Lane, Bella Dooley, Kara Riley, Misty Lane, Sharon Sirois, Darlene Kronholm, Stella Lane, Diane Lane, and Bonnie Lane. Not attending but sending gifts were Gail Pocock and Kristen Lane.
Paradis and Army Sergeant Travis Lane, formerly of Sherman, will exchange vows on Sept. 21 at the Augusta Country Club in Manchester. The couple has been separated by military training exercises in different parts of the country. During this time, they kept in touch with cellular telephones and video calls when the internet was available.
