WASHBURN, Maine — Principal Larry Worcester, along with the staff of Washburn District High School, recently announced the Class of 2020 as Students of the Month for the month of May.
These students are: Mason Bartlett, Emily Driscoll, Keegan Goodine, Colby Hewitt, Noah McLaughlin and Paul Tardie III.

The principal said this has been a school year unlike any other, where the six seniors dealt with the unknown of remote learning and how they would finish their senior year, as well as what graduation might look like.
“These students have handled the twists and turns with great strength and perseverance,” Worcester said. “The entire staff of WDHS are proud of each of these students and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.”
