WASHBURN, Maine — Principal Larry Worcester, along with the staff of Washburn District High School, are proud to announce Ashton Henry as the Student of the Month for December.
Henry is a senior at Washburn District High School and the son of Amy Lacombe.
He is a member of the National Honor Society, president of the Senior Class as well as president of the Civil Rights Team. Ashton is also a member of the high school band.
Mrs. Molton said, “Ashton works tirelessly to keep civil rights projects going.”
Henry is known for being creative and most recently has been able to lend his creative mind to the yearbook, creating pictures as well as taking and editing photos.
In his “down” time, Henry can be found volunteering in the after-school program at the elementary school as well as working on early college classes through the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
