High pressure spreads across the region today with sunny skies and a high in the lower 80s for the start of astronomical summer this morning. Tonight, mostly clear skies with a low in the mid-50s are expected. Light west wind in the morning becomes southwest in the afternoon.
High pressure moves to the southeast Thursday, which remains mostly sunny, hot, and increasingly humid with a high climbing into the low 90s with a southwest wind. Thursday night, mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low 60s can be expected. Light southwest winds are expected.
High pressure remains in control of the region’s weather Friday. Fort Kent and vicinity once again look to reach the low 90s for daytime highs with sunny skies and muggy conditions as dew points climb into the upper 50s to low 60s. Southwest winds in the 5-10 mph range are expected. Friday night, skies become with a low in the low-to-middle 60s. Southwest wind in the 0-7 mph range expected.

Daytime highs top out in the mid-80s with muggy dew points in the mid-60s. Saturday night, mostly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms continuing. Temperatures fall into the mid-60s with continued humid conditions.
The cold front slowly moves towards the coast Sunday with a chance for scattered showers over the course of the day. Highs are expected in the low 80s with humid conditions. Sunday night, partly cloudy skies develop with a chance for scattered showers continuing. Overnight lows are expected in the low 60s with continued muggy conditions.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected Monday as a stalled frontal boundary remains over central/southern Maine. Showers are expected, especially in the afternoon, along with a slight chance for thunderstorms. Showers are expected overnight into Tuesday under mostly cloudy skies. Daytime highs reach the mid-70s with overnight lows in the lower 60s.

Cloudy skies with showers likely Tuesday night as a low pressure area approaches from the Great Lakes. A high in the upper 70s with an overnight low in the lower 60s are expected.
