Breakfast a success

The Mapleton Daze Committee thanks all who came out to their May 11 breakfast fundraiser at the Lions Hall. Those attending enjoyed seeing friends and family, and several mothers were happy to be treated to breakfast out.

All funds raised at the breakfast, as well as last Saturday pre-auction dinner, will go toward Mapleton Daze 2024.

Counselors needed

Baptist Park is preparing for its 93rd session, which will start June 30 and end Aug. 3. There will be three and a half weeks of overnight camping for kids of various ages, and 11 days of day camp for younger kids.

Sessions include Flight Camp for youth ages 14-18, Outdoor Adventure Camp for ages 13-18 and Maxed Out Adventure Camp for ages 11-14.  A half-week overnight camp is planned for Mountain Climbers ages 9-11.

The camp urgently needs student counselors. camping season. Anyone who wants to make a difference in the camping season is welcome to help volunteers get the park ready for the summer season. Visiting may help youth decide to consider applying to be a counselor.  If interested, contact Scott at 207-554-8777. For information, visit baptistpark.net/.
