CARIBOU AND PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Flora J. Kennard, wife of the late Melvin Kennard, died July 6, 2017, at her Presque Isle residence. She was born in Fort Fairfield, October 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Denis and DeLena (Morin) Michaud.
Mrs. Kennard was a longtime faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Josie Thibodeau and husband, Maynard of Caribou, Melvin Kennard Jr. and wife, Brenda of Lafayette, LA, George Kennard of New Ipswich, NH, Dorothy Guerrette and husband, Mark of Washburn, Reynold Kennard of Caribou, Jenny Lowe and husband, Carroll of Presque Isle, and Sheila Kennard and husband, Philip of Tucson, AZ; a brother and two sisters, Louis Michaud and Winnifred Spellman, both of Nashua, NH, Ozeline Fisher of Caribou; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kennard was predeceased by her husband; a son, Russell; two sisters, Ella Drost and Delia Pelletier; and two brothers, Percy and Danna Michaud.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 10am Thursday, July 13, 2017, until time of services. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon from the chapel of the funeral home with Fr. David Raymond, officiating.
