FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — The first show of the year at the Pine & Spurs Riding Club, held June 17 and 18, was a huge success, said organizers.

Saturday winners were: Lead Line Champion, Madelyn Brown and Raynbeau; Walk/Trot Champion, Paige Bosse and Time Out; Walk/Trot Reserve Champion, Paige Bosse and Polly; Youth Champion, Brooklynne Moreau and Duncan; Youth Reserve Champion, Baileigh Moreau and Raynbeau; Adult Champion, Josh Nickerson and Brassy; and Adult Reserve Champion, Randy Johnson and Time Out.
Winners of Sunday Performance Classes were: Halter Champion, Morgan Bartlett and Bye Bye Moon Girl; Halter Reserve Champion, Anna Robinson and My Famous Toby; Walk/Trot Champion, Paige Bosse and Time Out; Walk/Trot Reserve Champion, Mckayla Geurette and Lily; Youth English Champion, Mallory Williams and Otis; Youth English Reserve Champion, Brooklynne Moreau and Duncan; Adult English Champion, Brandy Clark and Hot Shot; Adult English Reserve Champion, Rachel Williams and Tucker; Youth Western Champion, Mallory Williams and Otis; Youth Western Reserve Champion, Baileigh Moreau and Cyd; Adult Western Champion, Rachel Williams and Tucker; and Adult Western Reserve Champion, Brandy Clark and Hot Shot.
The club thanked Judge Reggy Ouellette for his work judging the contest and educating riders, and the Maine Eventer’s 4-H club, who helped with food concession.
