PRESQUE ISLE AND BANGOR, Maine – Kathleen C. Vaughn, 66, passed away, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at her home in Bangor. She was born July 14, 1950 in Green River, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of the Hennas Martin of Edmunston, New Brunswick, Canada and late Jacqueline (Dumond) Martin.
She worked many years as a babysitter in Presque Isle, moved to New Mexico and then Florida where she worked in food service and finally, to West Virginia where she worked for Staples Distribution before becoming disabled. Kathy enjoyed cooking, reading, playing computer games, spending time with family and especially her great grandchildren and great nephew whom she spent time with when she lived in Presque Isle for two years before moving to Bangor.
She is survived by daughter Billie-Jo Musgrave-Adams, husband Sean Adams, granddaughter Kaylee, all of Florida. Granddaughters; Brooke Hammond-Wilcox, husband Chris Wilcox, children Mason and Aubree and Stephanie Hammond of Easton, brothers; Roger Martin and his son Eric Martin of Indiana, Gilman Martin and son Michael Martin of Tennessee, Marc Martin, wife Cheryl Martin, children Joshua Martin, Sarah Martin Cyr, grandson Kevin Martin of Presque Isle, and sister Gloria Davenport of Bangor.
She was predeceased by her mother Jacqueline (Dumond) Martin, sister Alice Raber, and brother Herman Martin and daughter Kimberly (Hitchcock) Hammond.
