PRESQUE ISLE – Geraldine B. Brewer, 87, wife of the late Ray Brewer, died December 29, 2010, at a Bangor hospital.

She was born March 3, 1923, in Frenchville, the daughter of George and Catherine (Martin) Bouchard. She had been employed at the Northern National Bank for over 25 years.

Geraldine was a communicant of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed her times with her “domino girls”.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, Jerome and Marilyn Brewer, and Jim and Nancy Brewer, all of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Nathan Brewer and his wife, Karla, Chad Brewer and his wife, Lisa, Kristi Brewer, Heather Craig and her husband, Chris, and Erinn Rossignol and her husband, Donald; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Rooney of Wisconsin.

Prede-ceasing her besides her husband in 1971, was a daughter, Janice Brewer, in 1992; five brothers, Gerard, Conrad, Romauld, Joseph and Leo Bouchard; and three sisters, Priscille Adams, Fedora Bouchard, and Sister Therese Bouchard.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated, 10 a.m., Monday, January 3, at St Mary’s Parish of the Precious Blood in Presque Isle, with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating. A spring interment will be in St Mary’s North Main St. Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
