Exalted Ruler Dan Hiebert of the Houlton Lodge of Elks, BPOE 835, presents a $500 donation to Joy Barresi Saucier, executive director of the Aroostook Agency on Aging in Presque Isle,
to be used for countywide programs that benefit older community members, such as Meals on Wheels and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program through USDA. Hiebert said lodge members were unable to hold their annual Christmas dinner with senior citizens due to the pandemic and decided to make a monetary donation.
