Jordan Sirois of Fort Fairfield, a senior at Fort Fairfield Middle/High School, has been selected to receive the 2014 Principal’s Award, announced Principal Tanya Belanger.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Throughout her years at Fort Fairfield Middle/High School, Jordan has achieved academic excellence, shown positive leadership within the school and has displayed outstanding citizenship within the school and community,” Belanger noted in making the award. “She was chosen to receive this award by a large number of faculty and staff members and very much deserves this recognition.”
Sirois, Belanger and other award winners and their principals will attend an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 5.
