HOULTON, Maine — The F.A. Peabody Company, a leading insurance agency in Maine, is proud to announce that two of its human resources professionals have recently attained new credentials that demonstrate their commitment and expertise in the field. FAPCO also provides HR services for its subsidiaries, Pioneer Broadband and FAPCO Administrative Services.

Nikki Rollins, human resources assistant, has earned the Associate Professional in Human Resources designation from the Human Resource Certification Institute. The aPHR is the first level of certification for HR professionals who are just beginning their careers or transitioning into the HR field. It validates foundational knowledge of HR practices and policies, as well as compliance and operational aspects of the profession. Nikki started working at FAPCO in 2022 as a data processor and soon moved into the HR department. Prior to moving to the Houlton area three years ago, Nikki lived in Brunswick and worked as a wellness coordinator for a local assisted living facility. Now, she lives in New Limerick on Drews Lake with her husband, Luke.

“We are incredibly proud of Nikki’s achievement of the aPHR designation,” said Chelsea Henderson, vice president of human resources. “Nikki’s commitment to professional growth reflects her dedication to developing in this role. We are confident that Nikki will continue to contribute greatly to our team as well as the HR profession as a whole.”

Chelsea Henderson, vice president of human resources, has attained her master of science in human resource management from Troy University. The attainment of this degree underscores one’s commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, positioning them as a valuable asset to their organization and the broader HR community in which they serve. The program prepares students to manage people in a business, focusing on strategic leadership, employment law, ethics, and diversity in the context of human resource management. The degree requires 30-33 credit hours and requires a GPA of at least 3.0 or better.

Chelsea has been employed by F. A. Peabody Company since 2004 and was promoted to vice president of human resources for the company and its subsidiaries in 2010 while also serving as the corporate secretary and clerk since 2008. Chelsea is a graduate of Hodgdon High School.  She received her associate of arts in business from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2007. She completed her human Resource Management Certificate in 2009 from the University of Maine at Augusta and, in 2010, received her Professional in Human Resources designation from the HR Certificate Institute. She went on to complete her bachelor of science in business administration in 2012, magna cum laude, from the University of Maine in Augusta. She also recently completed her Retirement Plan Associate designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

Chelsea lives in Hodgdon with her husband Josh and daughter Kinsley.

“Chelsea continues to impress me with her can-do attitude and focus on education as a continuous process for improvement,” exclaims Christopher Anderson, president of F. A. Peabody Company.
