HOULTON – Helena M.T. Maker Dickinson, 78, died Aug. 16, 2010 at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 23, 1932 at Topsfield, the daughter of Joseph W. and Vina E. (Smith) Thornton.
Helena is survived by two sons, Ronald E. Maker, Harold L. Maker and his wife, Heather; six daughters, Nancy L. Yates and her husband, Bob, Nadine F. Belyea and her husband, Dana, Karla M. Libby, Red L. Selinger, Julianna H. Jimmo, Davina D. King and her husband, Chad; 32 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; several special nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, three sons, Richard M. Maker, Jr., Kenneth J. Maker and Johnny Maker, and her brothers and sisters.
Memorial services were held Saturday 11 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home with Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment was held in the Smyrna Mills Cemetery. Gifts may be made in Helena’s memory to the charity of one’s choice, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
