CARIBOU – Gilbert Longley, 77, died February 20, 2015, at Caribou. He was born in Caribou November 7, 1937, the son of the late Clifford and Annie (Michaud) Longley.
He was employed by Lane Construction for many years as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He married Patricia Goodine on July 14, 1964.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Patricia, and their son, Michael, both of Caribou; two brothers, Edmond “Bee” Longley of Augusta and Kenneth Longley of St. Simons Isle, GA; an uncle, Ovilla “Mich” Michaud of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Anita Ramo and a brother, Gerald Longley.
Friends called the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 1 p.m. until time of services which were held at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Fr.
