Presque Isle Varsity Club presents Ernie and the Automatics in concert

    PRESQUE ISLE – The Presque Isle High School Varsity Club is pleased to present the Boston-based rock and blues band Ernie and the Automatics Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. in the PIHS Auditorium.

    Members of Ernie and the Automatics have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. The band features guitarist Barry Goudreau and drummer Sib Hashian, both former original members of the multi-platinum selling band BOSTON.
    The band’s first CD, “Low Expectations,” debuted at number seven on Billboard’s Blues Chart.
    This will be the band’s first trip to northern Maine. The band has spent most of its time in Boston and New York City sharing the stage with legendary artists such as B.B. King, Chuck Berry and Etta James.
    Local singer-songwriter Brian Mosher will open the show.
    Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door and are available at the Aroostook Centre Mall, Bradley’s Citgo, the Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce, Presque Isle High School, and from members of the SAD 1 Music Boosters.
