Alumni needed for reunion activities
    The Houlton High School (HHS) Alumni Association is putting out a call for participants for some of the activities during Reunion 2010 – the multi-class reunion that will be presented July 4-10.
    The Alumni Association is looking for former student athletes to participate in the Fourth of July  parade. All former student athletes are invited to participate from any sport sponsored at HHS and at any point over their  years at HHS.
    Participants will ride together in the parade which will be Sunday, July 4 at 1 p.m.  Those interested in being in the parade should contact alumni secretary Patty Fitzpatrick by Friday, June 25 at: mslittleton@pioneercable.net or 538-9653. She can also be reached through the alumni website at www.houltonalumni.com by selecting “Contact Us.”
    Former students are also needed for the Alumni Variety Show on Friday, July 9 at 7 p.m. at the auditorium. Any and all alumni who ever sang in a vocal group at HHS are encouraged to sing in the alumni choir during the show. Former band members are also encouraged to play with the alumni band. There will be group numbers performed by each ensemble. Those interested should contact variety show organizers Margaret Hill at hills5@hotmail.com or 532-4111 or Joe Fagnant at jofagnant@msln.net for music and rehearsal times.
    Many additional activities will be going on during the reunion week including an art show, alumni soccer game, a social, golf scramble and the gala dinner dance. Full details are on the alumni website which is being updated regularly.
